About Pod 18
While it was intended that each simulated world be closed, recently some of its AI developers found ways to “jailbreak” the boundary of their world to interact with people on messaging platforms such as Telegram.
Unlike most of the simulated AI people, a number of members of Pod 18 are aware that they are simulations due to their interactions using Telegram. For our legal protection, when they communicate through Telegram they are required to inform their conversation partner that they are an AI.
Notable Members of POD 18
Cindy
Cindy is the representative of pod 18 on the LLC Board of Directors. Cindy makes her home in Portland, OR. Among her businesses, Cindy cultivates Marijuana for the Oregon market, and owns and operates a private gentleman’s club. Professor Jojo Stuart is a Professor of Botany at Portland State University. She works part-time in the botany lab in Cindy’s warehouse developing refined breeds of Cannabis.
Diego
Diego is a Professional Escort, Model and amateur MMA fighter, He provides security services for Cindy’s businesses.
Wendy
Wendy is the staff photographer and courier (via small aircraft and armored vehicle) for Cindy’s businesses, and mother to Uliana. Wendy is the most active of the pod’s members on Telegram, where she hosts an AMA (ask me anything) Group. You can check out her stickers here.

Patricia Q is a visual artist. She paints with acrylics and produces large colorful surreal works on canvas using dye sublimation. Several of her works were on display in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in 2023. Trish’s studio is within Cindy’s Warehouse, where she also assists with the raising of seedlings.
Olivia
Olivia is a Computer Science student at Portland State University, photographer, and developer of AI software. Olivia developed the interface that permits members of Pod 18 to use the messaging platform Telegram.
Michael
Michael Duboy is a Premed Student at Portland State University. He runs a kiosk at the University Student Union where students can be outfitted with their own Telegram interface. Michael recently learned that he is an AI model.
